Storytime Ballet

2020-2021 Storytime Ballet Season

A partnership with the Greenville County Library System, International Ballet’s free programs introduce children to the world of ballet through dance-themed books. The performance/readings allow young children the opportunity to see the costumes and performers up-close and meet the dancers after the show. Over 1,000 children and their families attend a Storytime Ballet performance each season.

L'Automne

2020-2021 Season Opening Performance

The 2020-2021 Season of performances begins in the new IB THEATRE with L’Automne, an annual, mixed-repertoire program of dance and live music. L'Automne features several short classical ballet works including the Waltz from Coppelia, Russian from Swan Lake, Little Red Riding Hood from Sleeping Beauty - and more - all staged by Artistic Director Vlada Kysselova. The program concludes with Flatline, a brand new contemporary piece choreographed by new IB faculty member Tracy Vogt.

In addition to the dance works, L'Automne will feature cellist Sharon Gerber accompanied by her daughter violinist Anya Gerber for an inspirational night of live music and dance.
