INTERNATIONAL BALLET

Assemblé Guild

The success of International Ballet is due in large part to generous individuals who volunteer their time and talents. The Assemblé Guild supports the mission of International Ballet by coordinating fundraisers and other initiatives that support our students, performances, and programs.

Assemblé is a French word meaning brought together or joined. In ballet, an assemblé is a jump in which the dancer springs from one foot, brings the other foot to join it in the air, and then lands with both feet together.

Volunteer Opportunties 

International Ballet Support

  • Assist with various projects 

International Ballet Office Assistance 

  • Support IB administrators with various tasks in and around the IB offices. 

Storytime Ballet

  • Assist with costumes 

  • Setting up and helping the day of the performances

  • Assist with any drawings or fundraisers 

Scholarship Program

  • Assist with audition registrations and administrative work

Volunteer Opportunities 

Annual Children's Event 

  • Event planning

  • Set-up and clean-up

  • Seek sponsorships

Annual Nutcracker Tea 

  • Event planning 

  • Decorating, set-up, cleam-up

  • Merchandise sales 

  • Seek sponsorships 

Supporting Productions 

  • Providing backstage refreshments

  • Merchandise sales at Peace Center

  • Cast Party

Passport To Dance Annual Gala 

  • Assist with planning

  • Decorating, set-up, clean-up 

  • Procuring  items  for Auctions

  • Managing Silent Auction (digital & live)

  • Assist with mailings and communications

  • Seek sponsorships

Merchandise 

  • Work with IB Marketing Director to choose and sell IB branded merchandise

  • Procure and organize merchandise for Nutcracker Tea sale

  • Procure and organize merchandise for other events as needed

Costume Shop

  • Inventory 

  • Sewing

  • Organizing
