From Ballet to Broadway!

A one night only, collaborative live dance and music event presented by International Ballet Artistic Director, Vlada Kysselova. Sponsored by Charles Wofford and Nancy Thomas, From Ballet to Broadway! will showcase the classical ballet La Fille mal Gardée (Act I), Broadway inspired melodies performed by Max Quinlan and Siri Howard and exciting new dance works by Vlada Kysselova and Carissa Kubitz. Guest dancers Cara Marie Gary and Edson Barbosa (of the Joffrey Ballet) will present Moody Rhapsody, a gorgeous pas de deux set to Astor Piazzolla. Buy your tickets now for this dazzling evening!

The Nutcracker Tea is a cherished Upstate event that offers young children and their families the beginnings of a annual Nutcracker tradition in celebration of the holidays. Guests will enjoy refreshments including hot tea and yummy hot chocolate, delicious cakes, a souvenir Nutcracker, keepsake photo with the Dewdrop Fairy, Nutcracker bingo and an exclusive performance by International Ballet Nutcracker Dancers.

The Nutcracker

A classic family holiday tradition

The beloved holiday classic returns to the Peace Concert Hall featuring principal guest artists Cara Marie Gary and Lucas Segovia, accompanied by the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. Join Clara and her prince as they encounter dancing snowflakes, spirited sword fights and a visit to the Kingdom of Sweets.

Act I Snow Scene features the angelic voices of the Greenville Youth Chorale.

Judson Mill Lofts

Hosted by the International Ballet Assemblé Guild, the Passport to Dance Gala Fundraiser features live and silent auctions, delicious food, fabulous performances by the IB pre-professional Company dancers, IB Academy, Accessibility Program participants, and the Adult Ballet program. The event supports the programs of International Ballet. Individual Tickets and Table Sponsorships will be available in 2023.

 

Storytime Ballet

A partnership with the Greenville County Library System, International Ballet’s free programs introduce children to the world of ballet through dance-themed books. The performance/readings allow young children the opportunity to see the costumes and performers up-close and meet the dancers after the show. Over 1,000 children and their families attend a Storytime Ballet performance each season.

 

Performances are 10 am at Five Forks branch

11:30 am at Hughes Main Library branch.
