GISELLE

One of the world's most renowned classical ballets, Giselle has captivated audiences for generations and still remains one of the most frequently performed ballets today. International Ballet presents this timeless story of love, heartbreak, forgiveness, and redemption on May 1–2, 2027, at the Peace Center Gunter Theatre. Featuring the iconic choreography of Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot, and Marius Petipa, and staged by Artistic Director Vlada Kysselova, Giselle transports audiences from a sunlit village to an ethereal forest where the power of love is tested beyond life itself.

A partnership with the Greenville County Library System, International Ballet’s free programs introduce children to the world of ballet through dance-themed books. The performance/readings allow young children the opportunity to see the costumes and performers up-close and meet the dancers after the show. Over 1,200 children and their families attend a Storytime Ballet performance each season.
