Summer Intensive
JUNE 8 - 27, 2026
IB’s Summer Intensive is a three-week program designed to help dancers grow, refine their technique, and expand their artistry in a focused and supportive environment. Each day includes ballet technique class, with additional training in Pointe, Variations, Ballet Repertoire, Contemporary, Jazz, Acting for Dancers, and Stretch & Strength for both levels plus additional classes throughout the program.

Our outstanding 2026 faculty includes Vlada Kysselova, Victoria Yanchuck, Adair Kempf, Liz Blackwood, Josha Williams, Cassidy Bryant, Olivia Gould, Abbey Sullivan and Sarah Shoemaker, bringing a wide range of professional experience and inspiring instruction to the studio.

Program Schedule
Full Day: Monday–Friday, 10:00am–5:00pm;
Saturday 10:00am–1:00pm
Half Day: Monday–Saturday, 10:00am–1:00pm
Full-day students should bring a packed lunch each day.
IB will provide daily snacks.

IB’s Summer Intensive offers a comprehensive training experience while fostering friendships and a strong sense of community among both newer and advanced dancers.
Students must register for Weeks 2 and 3 to be eligible to perform in the June 27 showcase.

Junior Intensive

IB’s Junior Summer Intensive is designed for IB students in Levels 2A and 2B (non-IB students may attend by audition) and offers up to a two-week experience to help young dancers build confidence and expand their training. Each day includes ballet technique class, with additional instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Character, Stretch and Strength, Ballet Repertoire.

Summer camps held at Batesville Road Location
IB Ballet Summer Camps are designed for children ages 3-10. For one full week (Mon-Fri) students dance, learning age appropriate ballet basics that emphasize coordination and musicality. Creatively, students explore all facets of the art of ballet, learning about the story, music, and costumes of classic story ballets. The week culminates with a performance for parents.
